Needless to say it was a no brainer as to where my children would attend nursery school. They create an environment of such love and nurture, the same of which you would provide in your own home. Since then all 3 of our boys have graduated from there. It was by far the best decision we have made in our 10 years of parenthood. “We love Sunshine and Rainbows!!! I went there as a child and was so happy to see that my teacher’s daughter had taken over the school when it was time for my kids to attend. The moment I walked in I was immediately comfortable due to the incredibly caring staff and engaging environment for my kids. Coming from someone who had a ton of anxiety about sending my kids to preschool, I can say now that my third child will be going a year early due to the amazing experiences my other two children had. The staff truly goes above and beyond for every child. My kids always come home with huge smiles on their faces as they are made to feel loved and special every single day. The teachers find ways keep things fresh and exciting with science experiments, cooking, tons of crafts, field trips, changing the décor/theme of the classrooms every month as well as 1:1 time with each child to work on learning assessments.

My kindergartener (and soon-to-be kindergartener) continuously say they wish they could go back, and wave to the school every time we drive by. This is their home away from home.”

“Love, comfort, belonging, it’s what I felt when I went to Sunshine and Rainbows over 30 years ago, and it is what I could only hope for for my sons when I was looking for a toddler program. Although I don’t recall much from those days, that feeling of warmth and all the laughter, I remember. My parents immigrated from Greece before I was born and my first language was Greek. Sunshine and Rainbows prepared me for Kindergarten, both through the knowledge I gained and the socialization I experienced.

They have done the same for my son, James. We speak to him in Greek at home and although he probably had more of an English vocabulary than I had at his age, he was still learning when he entered the toddler program at 19 months. Hearing him speak to his teachers in English was so wonderful for me to witness, and his love for his teachers as well. He has become a kind, respectful, caring friend who is always willing to share with other children, and of course has an expectation that they will do the same. He has learned so much in his time at Sunshine and Rainbows and we are so grateful.

Sunshine and Rainbows is a place where I never question if James (Pre-K) and Charlie (Preschool) are going to have a great day, I already know the answer. It’s a place where when we’re having a tough morning, it’s only about five minutes after drop off that I get a reassuring call or picture that all is fine. The teachers are all respectful, kind and welcoming. Beyond that, the families that have children attending are truly lovely and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. I loved Sunshine and Rainbows then and I love Sunshine and Rainbows now.”

“As soon as I became pregnant with my first born back in 2013 I knew exactly what childcare provider I wanted. There was only one issue, Sunshine & Rainbows was in Massachusetts, and I was living in Maryland. For numerous reasons, my husband and I decided to move back to my hometown, and in doing so, my children were able to attend Sunshine & Rainbows, which also happens to be where I went when I was a child.

Sunshine & Rainbows is one of those programs that feels like family. They are so warm and inviting, and really know how to make the children feel comfortable and have fun, while learning a ton along the way! As for adult concerns, they are always willing to connect with us, and try to be flexible whenever possible. Our childcare providers are ultimately laying down the foundation of success for our children which will have a life lifelong impact on them.

Sunshine & Rainbows know the utmost importance of fostering both intellectual and emotional growth simultaneously; there is no other place I would have wanted my children to go! You are not just getting a childcare provider; you are getting so much more!”
