Our Philosophy

At Sunshine & Rainbows, our goal is to make each child feel comfortable, safe and confident. We have been caring for young children in the Dennis area for over 45 years. Our strong foundation of caring for children and helping them to begin their learning journey has created happy, engaged children, grateful parents, and a lasting legacy in our Cape Cod community.

We believe that when children feel safe and secure, only then will they be empowered to love to learn. Our staff is highly trained in early education methodologies and bring a sunny disposition to their important work every day.

It is our privilege to care for your children and to teach and encourage them to become the best human beings they can.

Our Programs

Infant/Toddler

Our Infant /Toddler program consists of two classrooms; Each classroom is specifically designed to meet the developmental needs of our infants and toddlers. Our infant room is filled with 3 adorable babies while our toddler classroom is filled with 9 fun-loving and curious toddlers.

Our classroom is divided into various learning centers. The Preschool curriculum is focused on gaining social skills while adding an academic component that is developmentally appropriate.

Junior Kindergarten

In our Junior Kindergarten classroom, we continue to offer a play based program that prepares the children for kindergarten in a developmentally appropriate way. The Junior Kindergarten program comprises all of the elements of our preschool.
